This run down two unit building had previously been occupied by the owner for forty years when a fire struck, followed by a basement flood.

 

Since the entire building needed to be gutted, it was a natural fit for an EnerPhit renovation. The owners opted to maintain the two family configuration, with separate ERV decentralized systems, added insulation, passive house tilt-turn windows, and new heat pump systems.

Once the renovation is complete, the building will be ready for the family to live in for many more years to come.
